BARS & NIGHT CLUBS

 Usually the nightlife starts very late in Lisbon. Its normal to see people finish dinner at midnight. In the "Bairro Alto" neighborhood, is where are located a huge range of restaurants, coffee shops, fado houses, bars and night clubs. The places are usually small so the locals find themselves on the streets and that's where normally the get togethers happen and the consuming of drinks. At the weekends you will find the streets very crowded with friends, foreigners and locals. Later, in a relaxed and natural way, people begin to descend from "Bairro Alto" towards the Tagus river, passing by "Bica" street and finally the "Cais do Sodré" neighborhood, where the bars are open until 3 am. After that the nightlife still continues to the disco clubs nearby until morning. Relax and enjoy, eventually you will feel the taste of freedom from the old school nightlife.
