DESCRIPTION:

 

It's a large beach as the name says, has good access, the cliffs that surround it give shelter from the wind.

Every year the World Bodyboard Championship and the European Surf Championship takes place in this beach. Have an ocean swimming pool and magnificent panoramas.

Has a support beach, good restaurants, terraces with beach bars open till night and has the best sunsets on the coast of Sintra.

At the end of the beach, at low tide, appears another small beach beyond the cliffs, where sometimes appears natural pools. Have a drink in the "Bar do Fundo" at the end of the day.
