DESCRIPTION:
A stunning beach, typical fishermen houses and steep cliffs over a sea of intense blue, made this fishing town become a popular destination, especially due to its traditional character.
You can still see fishermen dressed in check shirts and black pants, and their women with seven layers of petticoats, mending fishing nets or drying fish on the beach near their colorful boats.
For those who enjoy seafood, Nazaré is quite a gastronomical paradise: fresh fish cooked in different ways, from the Nazarene Fish Stew (with different varieties of fish) sardines, grilled seabass and grouper and delicious lobsters, crawfish and king crab.
