SANTA JUSTA LIFT

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

Elevador de Santa Justa was inagurated on 10 July 1902 and it is the only vertical lift in Lisbon for public service. It was built by the architect Raoul Mesnier du Ponsard, with a cast iron structure, enriched with filigrana details. In 2002 it was classified as National Monument.

 

*TICKETS PRICE:

 

Santa Justa Lift Ticket - 5 euros (acquired onboard, valid for 2 trips, includes acess to the viewpoint).

 

Santa Justa viewpoint - 1,5 euros (acess only to the viewpoint, doesn´t allow to do trips on the lift, get there by the Carmo Square).
