DESCRIPTION:

There are about 50 Tram's doing this circuit, you can buy the ticket directly from the driver (Onboard fare € 2,85), or use a prepaid or Lisboa card:

- 1 day ticket Carris/Metro network (24h use) ---- € 6,00

or

- Lisboa viva card + fare ----------------------- € 0.50 + € 7,00

It's always packed, try to catch it at the beginning of the route in Martim Moniz or in Prazeres. Just beware of pickpocketing with the targetting of tourists a common ocurrence, be alert sometimes they appear to be tourists.

You can leave the tram at some points of interest close to the stops of the circuit and then back to enter the next (use the Lisboa Viva Card or the 24h Carris card), has a regularity of 15 to 15 minutes, the total trip takes about 40 minutes.
